Having purchased a 20 year old home with a pool in Florida we were interested in having the existing waterfall features updated. As we traveled back and forth between our home in New England and our new place in Florida we began the lengthy process of interviewing about a half dozen companies that advertised waterfall installations and renovation. We received a similar number of suggestions about how we could best improve the five existing waterfalls around the pool. Honestly, it was pretty confusing and, while some of the other companies may have been able to capture what we wanted, now that the work is complete we are convinced that we made the best choice by deciding to use Artificial Environments.

Dante prepared a great proposal that guided the entire process. The work was done on time and on budget. He and his crew did a beautiful job with our renovation. The waterfalls are greatly improved and it is clear that the ideas Dante brought to us were the result of his true knowledge and understanding of this business. Not everyone wants the same look when their project is finished. However Dante listened to what we had to say when we described what we were looking for and his artisan skills captured it exactly.

Similarly, Bonnie back in the office was right on top of things and made sure that our communications, even from far away in New England, got to the people who needed to receive them. Since we weren't there for much of the work it was a great help to receive pictures via email, especially when critical decisions needed to be made. Perhaps one of the best compliments of all came when the president of the company that provides our regular pool service stopped by to discuss a few things. His company services hundreds of pools in and around the central Florida region. He commented that the artifical rock work and the waterfalls were probably the best work of this type that he has seen. More recently the prior owner of the house stopped in and couldn't stop talking about how wonderful the pool looks. We agree and feel like we've had a new pool installed. Thanks Dante. Great job!

All of their personnel were tidy and courteous during the job and kept us informed the entire way. The rockwork is out of this world! We just love it. They did such a great job with our pool, we asked them to build us an outdoor kitchen, bar, and fireplace!

We contracted with Artificial Environments to renovate a +20 year old pool  - the pool was a good size and conceptually we knew we wanted our children and friends to enjoy for years......Dante Corrente was very instrumental to create a pool environment that was appealing to both children and adults.  The slide, the grotto and the rock work are amazing.  To see the progression of the construction was incredible.  We were so impressed with the pool that we carried out the "theme" to a summer kitchen and to our jacuzzi....to say that people are "truly amazed" when they come to our backyard is a understatement.  Kids are in complete awe when they see the "pool"!!!  We host pool parties for our children and friends and they are thrilled to swim and partake in the many features (slides, cascading waterfalls and rocks). 

The team at Artificial Environments are professional paying great attention to detail and work in a timely manner (something that is rare in many construction projects). 

We are thankful to Dante and his team of "rock builders" who make each job a "personalized" playground for each customer!

I have a house that was build in 1977. The pool was added in the late 80’s. I guess you could imagine what the pool looked like, considering the styles back then. The pool deck was painted and the trim around the edge of the pool was a terracotta bull nose brick. I called Artificial Environments, Inc. to see if they could resurrect my pool. Dante stopped by to take a look and had a vision for what we could do to bring it back to life. I wanted a waterfall and natural feel to the deck. The workers were amazing to watch – carving out and shaping my old pool into a garden oasis. It kind of reminds me of going to the springs, that’s how nice it looks now. I want to thank the staff for their professionalism and speed in which my project came to fruition. Thanks again, Dante, for having the vision and creating a little piece of tranquility in my own back yard.

In the spring of 2006 Ihad the good fortune to observe a pool and water fall renovation
taking place at one of my former clients. Having a strong background in construction,
landscape architecture, and the architectural fields, I observed a sta!e of the art creation
taking place. The work crew was busily engaged in carving and creating a natural
waterfall, the detail and care taken to carve each stone was beyond belief. I had visited
several theme parks and hotels which included work of this type, but in my mind, the
work which I observed was superior to anything I had seen. I became immediately
interested in what was taking place as I had design plans in mind for my personal home.

It was not until the next day that I met the owner of Artificial Environments; Dante
Corrente. I immediately knew we both had the same goals of creating nature at its best.
I approached Dante with plans in hand of the pool garden I had designed as my personal Garden of Eden and asked him ifhis crew could build the pool and water fall and amenities as I envisioned them. I was assured that I could expect a finished project that would meet the design standards I had set and expected and would not exceed the cost quoted.

As a home owner and professional in the field of landscape architecture, I can say
Artificial Environment's work force produces "state of the art" creations, and is second to none. My pool garden is a garden that all want to see and visit. The garden represents to my customers and friends the work of excellence and compliments my field of landscape architecture.
